Everything you do in kashmir is awesome from the sight seeing to the optionals and do all the optionals! Virgin forests, savannah, rolling hills, scenic valleys, numerous streams, huge splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea plantations and winding walkways are all part of the great holiday experience on offer for a traveler to Munnar. Munnar is also known for Neelakurinji, a rare plant which flowers only once in twelve years.

Alappuzha is also known as the 'Venice of East'. The story behind the origin of this name is very interesting. During the British Era, Lord Curzon visited Alappuzha (Alleppey) and seeing the beauty of this place, he addressed Alappuzha as 'Venice of the East'.
